The world is smaller than we think it is. Saturday night I received a phone call from Joe Lucero, from California,asking me if I was Kim Watts and did I have a son Jordan at the M.T.C., going to serve a mission in Merida Mexico. To my surprise, me being slow and not recognizing the name, found out that my cousin Stephanie Brown is married to Joe. I knew that, I just forgot. There son Zack is in the M.T.C.. Zack and Jordan are mission companions. Stephanie received a letter from Zack saying his companion was Jordan Slater from Cedar Hills Utah. Stephanie remembered that we had a son the same age as Zack. They called and of course the two of them are companions. They don't know that they are related. Yet they where both at Grandpa Skinners funeral. They have seen each other before, years ago. I am sure they're thinking, boy he looks familiar.
Jordan of course has not said a word about his companion yet, true I have only received one letter, but its funny that I would find out who his companion is by telephone from my cousin. I am so excited for Jordan. Zack has so many same interests as Jordan. They both like to camp and fish. Be outside and enjoying Gods creations. I am sure they are going to have many experiences together. They will leave the M.T.C. together to serve in Merida and they will come home together. Heavenly Father is truly watching over Jordan.

That is truly exciting for Jordan and Zack. A little tender mercy. Those two will really enjoy that news! Hurrah for Isreal!!!
Oh my heavens! What a small world! Aren't you glad that they were able to make the connection so that you can emjoy knowing they are together? Very cool.
BTW-I am so glad you are keeping a blog so that we can be updated. And yes, we definetly have Jordan in our prayers. Especially with the visa situation.
That is really a fun story! I'm sure it won't be the last time something happens on Jordan's mission that isn't just a coincidence. We are also praying for Jordan with his visa. The Lord in in charge!
