Called to Serve

My parents have been called to serve as service missionaries. They will be serving up at the Conference Center and Temple Square. They have been called to a five year services mission.They are so excited about their calling. My parenst have always wanted to go on a mission. I am so excited for them. They have always been a great example to me. I know that whoever they meet they will be touched by their love for the Lord.

Doing Better!!

We received a letter from Jordan today. He is doing better than he has in a while. Jordan received a new companion and they have not been getting along. His new companion does not want to work like Jordan does. He likes to break the rules. He watches movies when he should not. It has been very difficult for Jordan. He has said he feels he is wasting the Lords time. Jordan feels like he is baby sitting. This past week things have started to turn around for Jordan. He is finally working through some of the problems he has with his new companion. Jordan is teaching a 18 year boy who is praying about the gospel. Jordan is hoping he will accept it. Jordan sends his love to everyone.

Christmas

Christmas is such a special time of year! This year it was really a different Christmas for us. Jordan was not able to be with us. We miss him so much but we are so proud of the work he is doing. When you have a loved one not with you, it really makes you stop and reflect on what is truly most important. This Christmas our family felt the importance of family. When one of you is missing you are not complete. We wouldn't want Jordan to be anywhere else but Mexico right now. He is so blessed to be able to teach the people about the gospel.

The girls have a picture like this every year with their brother. He is usually sitting in the middle being mobbed by kisses. This year they wanted the same picture that they have had since they where born. Teysia grabbed his picture and we took it.

Vince

Vince is Brad's little brother. We had the honor of going and visiting him this holiday season. Vince was such a delight to be with. I have never seen Vince be so happy than I did when we were visiting him as a family. Vince was almost laughing. It is a wonderful experience to be in the presence of one of Heavenly Father's most valiant sons!
