We received our first letter from Jordan today. It was so exciting to hear from him. He is doing well. He said, " I taught my first lesson on the restoration. I was scared to death. After I did I felt the spirit stronger than I have ever felt before. .. I have started learning Spanish, wow it is confusing sometimes... I am going to send you my testimony on a tape in Spanish, tell me what you think... I have a testimony that the church is true, I know that the Savior died for me... I know the prophet is a prophet of God... I know that I was meant to be in this family... I love you all and I know that I am meant to be here." Elder Slater

Wow! Good for Jordon! He sounds great and upbeat. Prayers have been answered, and we can all breathe easier knowing he is "full into the work of serving our Savior!" We love him, and love you for blogging. You are doing great!

YEAH! You finally got a letter. That is so exciting. He has such a strong testimony. Trav and I have talked about it a lot. He is going to be a great missionary and touch so many lives. We are so proud of Jord and love him so much! By the way, I am very impressed with the blog. =) Keep it up! Love you guys!
